Holy shit, you mean those people are real?

Today I witnessed these things in the same conversation:

• Shock and disappointment that the government (i.e. Medicare) won't pay for my dad's wheelchair because he isn't yet 65


• Accusing hospitals of ripping off insurance companies by artificially inflating prices and nickel-and-diming people on basic amenities


• Excusing that price discrimination because they are driven to do it, what with the government forcing hospitals to treat illegal immigrants for free and everything
