Dumber, louder, shakier

Star Trek really wasn't all that great. It didn't descend into technobabble deus ex machina, but it was completely reliant on an appalling ignorance of physics, and the plot was essentially a simplifying rewrite of the horrible Nemesis with a little Wrath of Khan thrown in. How could the The Onion be so prescient? Scotty was fucking awesome, though. What I though was the weakest cast choice was the best. Why did I doubt you, Simon Pegg? G.I. Joe looks stupid, but I did totally squee at Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen.
