Kara Thrace is the last human, and the mother of everyone. And by everyone, I mean everyone is a Cylon, regardless of who created whom. The universe they inhabit is a simulation of our original universe, with Kara plugged into it and everyone else a construct within it.
Of course, this is so logical and derivative of The Matrix it can't possibly be what they go with, but it is the only way to explain instantaneous resurrection and Kara's bizarre experiences.
Update: Ok, so Starbuck is God. Hallucination Baltar and Six are her angels. And I guess the whole point is for each generation to do it better than the last, so the cycle is broken, and the created stop warring against their creators. Or something.
I still wish it ended like Hamlet. But at least that bitch got choked to death. And Adama: IT'S A SHAME SHE WON'T LIVE. BUT THEN AGAIN, WHO DOES?
Update update: Are Baltar and Six there to seed the next Cylon creation? Were the physical versions of themselves actually nothing more than incarnations of the angels, memory wiped much like the final five?
And why am I putting any thought into a bunch of bullshit spun by hack writers who had no idea what story they were telling when they started?
